Too many high school students feel disconnected academically, socially, and emotionally. With rates of anxiety, depression, and disengagement at historic highs, schools often lack the structures that foster true belonging and wellness. At the same time, fewer than half of Nashville’s high schoolers participate in organized sports, missing out on the discipline, teamwork, and confidence athletics provide. And while career-connected pathways in sports, health, and wellness are in high demand, most students graduate without credentials or hands-on experience.
